Nuit speaks for itself. A time for rest and celebration, ecstasy and anxiety, eroticism and fantasies, the night offers a scene of sounds, movements, presences and lights. Even though the night is the subject of increasingly voracious economic appetites, suspension and darkness still preserve us from them. The night therefore invents its bodies and the uses of its bodies. Without illustrating the social practices of dance such as clubbing or free-parties, the dancers work on consenting and abandoning themselves to another time, made of transformations, dazzling moments and slow-downs. A time of inoperability, essential to escape from daylight order and submit to the night.
