Always using the same setup, this project is the opportunity for two artists to meet. As an inherent feature of his approach, encounters will be at the heart of Sylvain Huc’s work. In the form of an étude, two bodies will confront their knowledge, their weights, their memories in a network of spatial, physical and emotional rules. If the concept of collision shows a strong imaginary and fictional potential, it will also be turned into a formal event. By questioning the notion of physical commitment, Sylvain Huc looks for the point of incandescence of an outpaced « body ballistics ». This series starts with a first opus featuring Ecuadorian dancer Christian Masabanda.
