Nupcias or Nuptials… an ordained ritual as well as a pagan celebration. The dancers play out this explosive union that oscillates between geometric rigor and abandon. The mass movements are those of a procession that traces the fault lines like the forceful thrusts of a collective body. Sixteen performers explore the deaf and acute forces that they experience alone and together. Immersed in a signature GAS sound universe, these electronic weddings with Wagnerian touches evoke a contemporary as well as an archaic mythology. A modest parable of a simple question : what is a group ?
